Rush hour!
El Berro is a small, friendly Spanish village nestling in the mountains of Sierra Espuña with a grocery shop, 2 bakers, 2 bars/restaurants (some English spoken) and there are more excellent hosteleries higher up in the mountains. The village is situated between two towns: Mula and Alhama de Murcia (approx. 20 minutes from each), where there are more choices of restaurants, shops etc. The historic capital of Murcia is only 45 minutes drive away.
Nearby there is the opportunity for quad biking and guided walks/mountain biking tours are available on request. The nearest airports are Alicante and Murcia (San Javier). Good rail and bus links and car hire from Alicante.
